Amazing Artwork.

We made lots of sketches of different areas around school. Then we used these to create a press-print block. After that we printed with our blocks , it was quite messy using the ink.
Then Cara had the great idea of using the printed sheets to create a collage of school. The children decided for themselves exactly what to do. I think they made some brilliant decisions.

Reading day fun!

We had a reading morning with lots of different activities to do. These included reading to our teacher and sharing books with friends.

We played games and made silly sentences.

Etahn made: The duck jumped over a ball.
Caitlin made: A house climbed over a carrot!

Katie made: The red fox ate a big horse!

and Grace made: The little rabbit jumped over a spotty princess!

We enjoyed looking at our favourite books, listening to stories and do the activities on the computer.

Some of us did wordsearches, played word games and listened to stories on the ipads.

It was a lovely morning!

Katie's exciting show and tell!

This week Katie did an amazing show and tell all about her malamute huskies, their awards and the racing that they do. Watch this space for Katie's own thoughts about her wonderfully fabulous presentation.

Declan recorded some of the questions on the ipad!

Our fabulous school.

We have been thinking about what we have got that makes our school so special.

All about Roydon

Here are some of our routes to school, we had to remember every thing we pass on the way which was quite tricky.

We recognised many features from around the village. Some of us live quite a way from school though, as far as Scole, Rishangles, Shelfanger, South Lopham, Stuston, Palgrave and Diss.

We are learniing about Roydon. We are finding out about the village and our school.
