Today we have learned how to find fractions of quantities, made some Easter nests, completed termly self reviews, 'owned' our new books, evaluated our puppet-making skills, rehearsed our performances and some of us even filmed them! Some of us had some guided reading and iPad phonics work. Others earned certificates for teaching their monster to read! Phew! I think you deserve a break now Badgers. I am very proud of you! Have a lovely holiday!

Using Morfo!
Today we wrote some descriptive sentence showing what the Gruffalo characters would say to you if you were introduced. Some of Badger class went on to make Morfo animations of them. Unfortunately lots of them got cut off at 30 secs, but they enjoyed making them!
One of our digital leaders (Molly) learned how to do it, then was able to help lots of others! More coming soon!

Something lurking in the woods...
Mr BB went down the woods with Macy and Sabre so that they can have a lovely walk. Suddenly he heard something, then he thought he saw something...
The best sound effects in an animation ever? Well done Jasmine for playing the role of Mr BB so beautifully!
Badgers thought it was funny that Mr BB was scared of something in the woods, so they decided to tease him and create monsters and stories about them. They are the most wonderfully creative stories! Please come into class and read them!

I think their movies are marvellous! What do you think?

Mystery solvers!
We had a big mystery to solve in class today! We found a very old looking suitcase, but didn't know whether we should open it or not. It was a big decision!
