We have been having fun in Class 2/1B making clay elephants.

We wrote some elephant poems today and miss BB thinks they are marvellous! Come back tomorrow when we will have some audioboos of our poems for you to listen to.

Pictures of dry, dusty elephants in the African Savannah. We made them look really wrinkly.

Elephant descriptions

We wrote adjectives and similes to help make lovely descriptions of elephants.

A very special request!

We had a very special request from Richard Hammond today! Our elephant experts set to work straight away to create ibooks for him so that he can learn about the differences between African and Asian elephants and their habitats.

Making preparations!

We received a letter from Martha saying that we were able to join the team at ARC! We had to make sure that we knew a lot about elephants before we left England, so we set to work to research the Asian elephant! We found out lots of facts in books and on the Internet .
